First, what is fascia?
Fascia is the band or sheet of connective tissue beneath the skin that attaches, stabilizes, encloses, & separates muscles & other internal organs. Fascia contains movement, pressure & vibration, chemical balance, & pain.
Damage to fascia can be from trauma, surgery, improper hydration, posture, lack of movement, & stress.
Fascia is the first on the line & yet is rarely ever treated. Fascia will be so tight, it will hinder the pliability of the muscles. Through slow techniques, the fascia can be released allowing muscles to heal, become pliable, & work in unison.
